33 films qualified for Hasanat filmfest

Some 33 feature films have been qualified for the competition section of the 7th Hasanat National Film Festival in Iran.

Out of 676 received titles, the selection committee of the festival has chosen 33 movies to vie at the event.

Also a total of 112 animations and 363 documentaries requested to participate at the festival and the selection committee picked 30 of them.

The festival was established by the Hasanat Islamic Culture Publication and Promotion Foundation in Isfahan in collaboration with the Farabi Cinema Foundation and aims to promote the culture of charity in the country.

The 7th edition of the festival is scheduled to be held on March 2-5, 2018, in the central Iranian city of Isfahan.
